The TUBA is a quarterly newsletter available digitally or on request in paper form. The planned months of issue are: February, May, August and November.
If you don’t like reading online don’t be too scared of the printing costs. Depending on your equipment the costs of printing a hard copy on a home printer is about 2p a page for black and white or 4p a page for colour. So a 16 page newsletter costs either 32p or 64p. Not too bad eh?
Your copy will be sent to you by email but if you prefer a paper copy and are unable to print your own, please contact the membership secretary (see Contact page). However, you can collect a current paper copy at each monthly meeting or from Towcester library at the SNC Forum. If you are unable to receive or collect it in this form, we can post one to you. We try though to keep the numbers posted to a minimum to reduce postage costs and the amount of work for our busy Tuba team.
All Tuba content contributions are welcome, the more the merrier, either from the groups or just anything of an interesting general nature – photos, cartoons, jokes, riddles, poetry, prose, anything goes. Just send them to the editor at the following e-mail address:
There is also a monthly bulletin available that contains a more immediate and timely summary of some of the information that cannot wait to be to be included in the Tuba newsletter. The bulletin will not be produced in the months when the Tuba is published.
This is available from our website (see the link at the top of the text) or can also be collected at the monthly meetings.
