Our next monthly meeting at Towcestrians will be on Wednesday the 26th October at 2pm. It is a presentation by wildlife photographer Barbara Meyer entitled “Stories Behind the Photos”.
Taking photos of wildlife is not like taking photos of buildings, landscapes or even of people. It takes skill and patience to photograph a leopard or a deer in the wild. In this talk Barbara shares some of the challenges and memorable moments she experienced while taking photos of big cats as well as other African and British wildlife in their natural habitat or in captivity.
Based in Lincolnshire, Barbara Meyer is a wildlife photographer, who supports the conservation of endangered big cats and raises awareness for British wildlife around us. You can see examples of her work on her excellent website http://www.bigcatphotography.co.uk/
